Professional rates
Standard rates and retainer
Standard initial retainer: four hours of professional time, applied to document review, consultation, recommendations, revisions and preparation of a Process Authority Letter when warranted.
Laboratory testing, travel, shipping, specialized instrumentation and third-party services are excluded unless expressly included in writing.
Small Canadian companies
Eligibility and discounted retainer
Canadian clients whose business has never had five or more employees working for it in any fiscal year receive a 25% discount. The discounted four-hour initial retainer is CAD $1,200 plus GST.
If a Process Authority Letter cannot be issued following review, Blue Panthers will refund 40% of the initial retainer. For a qualifying company, this is CAD $480. Work beyond the retainer and third-party costs remain subject to the engagement terms.
