Prof. Anubhav Pratap-Singh

Associate Professor, Food Processing, University of British Columbia

Prof. Pratap-Singh leads the UBC Food Process Engineering Laboratory and serves as Director of the Dan On Food & Beverage Innovation Centre. His interdisciplinary program connects food engineering with sustainable bioproducts, advanced packaging and non-invasive delivery of therapeutic peptides and proteins.

His group works across process development, optimization, prototype development, scale-up, intellectual property and industry collaboration. Processing platforms include thermal agitation, extrusion, HTST/UHT processing, high-pressure processing, pulsed light, microwave-vacuum dehydration, ultrasonication and cold plasma.

Research areas
